Specyfy Water

How this works

Three questions, then a number

You answer what kind of water it is, when it started and how much is wet. After the second question the site shows what federal guidance says to do for your case — that part is yours whether or not you go further.

Then an independent provider calls you

If you leave a ZIP code and a phone number, the request goes to a restoration provider covering that ZIP, and they contact you directly.Specyfy Water does not carry out the work and is not a contractor.

Worth asking them yourself: what they will measure to decide the building is dry, what is being removed rather than dried, and whether repairs are in the quote or priced separately. Licensing requirements differ by state and city, so ask about that too.

It costs you nothing

Sending the form is free and commits you to nothing. There is no obligation to accept a quote from whoever gets in touch.

Where the numbers come from

Every figure on this site is linked to its source on the page it appears on: EPA and CDC for the drying window and safety guidance, FEMA and NOAA for the city figures, NAIC and the Insurance Information Institute for insurance, and a published national cost guide for prices. Where there is no data, there is no block.

The formal version — what we are, how we are paid, what we do not check — is on the disclosure page. Questions:[email protected].
